Warby Parker
Commercials
Prescription lenses are as nuanced as they are hardworking. There’s more to those little plastic discs than meets the eye. Shopping for glasses, however, can feel like a frame-first game. How can we celebrate—and teach about—all things Warby Parker lenses?
Solution: I wrote two joyful commercial spots starring Warby Parker’s lens offerings—the breadth and quality of which set the brand apart from an ever-growing sea of copycat retailers. These spots largely leveraged existing footage the brand had on hand, which required writing to the provided visuals. I wrote/storyboarded in a few new shots (the dramatic zoom-in-and-wink, for instance) that added to the overall concept while keeping production costs at a minimum.
